My most recent deviations are from a recent trip to Uganda. There I spent two and a half weeks working with youth in a town called Mbarara. Youth is considered anyone who is under the age of thirty and is single. Uganda's population consists of over 50% youth. This is due a lot to the AIDS epidemic and a recent war where parents of now called youth were killed.
I think most people view a third world country as some place where it would be horrible to live. Some believe every country that is stricken by poverty, in an American sense, is unhappy. I come back from Africa knowing that this isn't the case. The people in which I came in
